12 weeks

It's hard to believe that Lily is 12 weeks old already.  And that in just a week and a half she will be 3 months old.  She cracks me up because she is granting my every wish and staying petite (well, for one of my kids) and letting me enjoy our last baby.  It seems like the boys were so big, so fast, that I never enjoyed this little bitty stage because it was gone faster than I could have time to enjoy it.
She hasn't been to the Dr. lately, but if my scale is right, she is around 11.5 lbs.  That means she hasn't even gained a whole pound in the last 4 weeks.  Crazy.  She is still SO mellow and happy.  She is getting to be quite a mommas girl and really prefers to either be in her bouncy seat or with me.  This hurts Steve's feelings a little, but I know she will get past it soon.
She is an incredible sleeper.  She goes down for naps like a dream.  She is still side sleeping and often takes 2-3 hour naps 3 times a day.  And night time, well it's only been a week, but she is sleeping 9:30-6 and then is going back down and sleeping until 9 or later.  She is starting to notice things and grab for things, but more indirectly than actually reaching for things she sees.  She grabs her shirt and blanket a ton.  She started drooling in the last few weeks and although it is mild compared to the boys, she occasionally lets a little slip out and run down her lip. So cute.
She is full of smiles and laughs for everyone.  She loves her big brothers, but gets a bit scared when Greyson screams right by her ear. She is so patient and sweet.  I hope she stays this way.  It is such a change from our rowdy, crazy boys and I am enjoying every minute of her soft, gentle demeanor.

Disney World Florida

The end of May we went to Florida and spent a week at Walt Disney world.  The trip was with Steve's family to commemorate the 1 year anniversary of his mothers' passing.  His Dad and 3 of his siblings went.  It was a crazy and wild trip, but I think that the kids had fun and thats all that matters.  It was in the mid 90's all week.  It was SOOO hot.  We spent 2 days at water parks and 3 days at Magic Kingdom.  We tried Animal Kingdom one day, but it was so crowded and so hot and all the kids were being crazy, so we headed out and just stayed at the hotel and regrouped.  I don't think I would ever take my family back there unless the youngest was about 6 or 7 because there is so much to do and with the time change and naps and getting up in the middle of the night with a newborn, it didn't make for the smoothest of trips.

On the boat form the parking area to the entrance of Magic Kingdom.  Yes, there are Alligators in this water although we didn't see any.

So hot and So tired.  She was such a trooper.  It was fun to dress her in tons of new outfits because she was able to wear warm weather stuff.  It's too cold here still for any of her cute summer attire.

The boys loved being with their cousin Mackenzie. We tried meeting some characters, but it was so hot that we only ended up seeing a few because it was too much to wait in lines.

I look 6 months pregnant in this picture, but its the only one we got as a family the whole week.  There's just not much picture taking with so many kids to try and keep track of.

Fairmont Sonoma

A few weeks ago, Steve and I were able to get away for a short weekend trip to Sonoma.  Steve had a work trip and it was a short but nice break from being a full time mommy.  I got to enjoy some quiet special time with Lillian and Steve got to golf and we both got to enjoy several spa treatments.  I wasn't very impressed with the hotel for being a Fairmont, but beggars can't be choosers.  We are so grateful for Chloe for being so sweet with our older boys.  She is like family and she not only took great care of them, she took them to their baseball games, on a bike ride, and to school.  No small feat with 3 crazy boys.
